My son has a 5 gallon leopard gecko aquarium so we have the smallest sticky heater. We are very new to reptiles so I have nothing to compare this heater to. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase. I have a digital thermometer with a sensor that hangs about 1 inch off the bottom of the terrarium and we currently use paper towels as a base. The temperature varies between 72-77°. It may not be a good area but our baby leopard gecko is very happy.
