I wanted to put a camera on my van so I can see behind before reversing. Initially I temporarily installed a wired system which worked very well, but it was difficult to hide all the wiring. This system solved that problem! There's a simple power connection to the monitor, a direct connection to the auxiliary port, and multiple options for powering the camera. I decided to connect the camera to the power supply for the reversing lights so that the monitor only turns on when reversing. That's good because I didn't need a permanent image. There is a brief 1-2 second delay from the moment you engage reverse gear to the moment you see the image on the screen, no problem at all. The system works great and for the price you can't go wrong. Another bonus is the great customer service!
