All PAWS Up!: Kennels

I purchased this pool in early August but based on some reviews I wanted to wait a bit before posting a review. I'm a volunteer in a large Rottweiler rescue group. In addition to my own two adult Rotti's, I have 2-3 more adoptees at any one time. This pool was great - my dogs love it! I usually buy hard plastic baby pools and they don't last more than a few months before they leak; This is an important observation as the possible puncture of the plastic is caused by dogs doing their "quick scratching routine" on the floor when they first enter the pool. The material at the bottom of this pool is very durable. The instructions indicate that it should be placed on a hard surface; This will keep the bottom flat for the most part and likely prevent it from snagging on nails and potentially cracking. There is also a line inside the pool that shows the highest level that the water must not exceed. In my opinion, these manufacturer specifications are very important for the proper functioning and lifespan of the pool. Admittedly, I was hesitant to buy it because of the price; However, this is largely offset by the lack of a need to constantly purchase paddling pools. Also, this pool is of a much better quality and it's LARGE... imagine 4 adult rottweilers playing and there's still room. A really great feature is that the pool folds down to a very small size for storage; this is not possible with conventional children's pools. I live in Texas so due to the weather it is possible to use the pool most of the year. Considering the size and strength of Rottweilers and the fact that they can be used for extended months, this pool is well tested. I'll be back in a few months to update.
