This is a good way to remove the stone from a strawberry (which I've never done - I mean the stone tastes good), but the disappointing in that it does not reach the leaves. You have 4 strawberry quarters loosely attached to the leaves at the top and then you have to select all four quarters. Inevitably, one of the quarters will stick to the leaves and you'll have to separate them. An old-fashioned alternative is to simply snip off the tip with a knife. This works much better and faster. This tool could have been better if it cut right through, but right now it just doesn't feel very useful.
