Excellent thread. Works very nicely. It has knots on the color change, which was fine with me because I worked with each color in its own sphere before starting my first project, knowing I'd need more of one color than the other two would. The first project was a sweater. My sister and I used two cakes to make this. Both are light blue; all gray from one and about a third gray from the second cake and not even all green/turquoise from one. The second project I'm working on right now is the shawl from the third cake, which I didn't get until I lost the light blue yarn chicken. The third cake I got I left it like that and worked from the middle. AND THAT MAKES IT 4.75 STARS: When I got to the teal it was twisted so I had to cut off a few feet to make it usable. One in three and not badly damaged isn't bad for the amount of yarn you get at this price point. Now if this problem happened to one of the $12 cakes and I only got one and needed everything for one project I would be very upset. So I think if you can play well. take action. It is very soft and drapes well after treatment. I loved working with him. <3
