Review on CPU cooler ID-COOLING SE-224-XT Basic, silver/black/grey by Micha Bukowski (Pax) ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Excellent, very attractively priced cooler for processors with medium power consumption. It's made without unnecessary bells and whistles like RGB fan lights and other nasty things, the money is invested in really important things, such as polishing the base. Its pros: Attractive price (I took it for 1310 here at NM); Surprisingly well-crafted blade for the money. Not to the specular sheen of a $4000 supercooler, but much better than usual in this class; The fan is not noisy at all, as some other reviews have written. Runs on a Ryzen 5 5600 with PBO2 at -18 and +200MHz overclocked with power limits unlocked, consumption in the AIDA64 stress test is about 92W at 4650MHz@12022V, keeps temperatures within 68 degrees @1100RPM. In games around 50 with an RPM of about 1000. (In a full drain, the stress test barely heats up the processor to 61-62 degrees). Has some cons: Inconvenient packing of bolts and fasteners. It's almost impossible to stuff everything with brackets back into the fan box without bending the fan brackets (two pairs included, by the way).
