Have been using these for a few years now. I like that they are non-toxic, non-plastic, "recharged" simply by cooking once a month, and biodegrade after cooking. I use them in a glass jar. We keep several of these jars in the fridge and just rotate them. Thus, there is a filtering and a ready-to-use one. These definitely work! I can't stand our tap water without them. They will keep for about 6 months with a monthly reboil. You can see when they need to be charged because they don't produce as many bubbles when you drop them. Good product!
