We ordered a replacement remote control for our TV as the remote control that came with it had been consuming new batteries for several days so we had to replace it at least once a week. . Also, the old remote only works properly if you point it at a very specific angle or get close to the TV. So far we haven't had any of the same issues with the new remote. The batteries last forever (not sure if we've changed them since we got the remote) and had no issues with the remote working as it should. Very happy with it.
