These great little lights will make you visible at night. We put all 8 on my son's bike and he loves to ride them when they all flash. This makes him much more visible when he's out on his bike in the evening. I wouldn't use these lights to illuminate the path ahead of you. They're just not smart enough for it, but they're great at catching the attention of others. With 1 button, they can be on constantly, flash fast (like a strobe light), flash slowly or turn off. In the spring I will order another package for another child.
