I had a typical steering wheel shake under braking, especially when driving on ravine roads. Being cheap I went with Autozone pads and rotors, a cheap solution. A few months and maybe 5,000 miles later, the wobble is back. I took my old rotors and turned them and then installed my old pads as they were original and made of a lot of material. Same result, just took less time to shimmy downhill under braking. Ordered these pads two days ago and they arrived this morning. After 30 minutes I lapped the brakes as per the Stoptech website 6 (60-10 mph). The first pair didn't have much brakes but after the six what a difference! I looked at the rotors after I got home and they cleaned them off the old brake unit. The initial bite is much better than before and I will be ordering rear brake pads from StopTech in a few weeks.
