As a car repairman, I use it with a hot water carpet vacuum. First I vacuum the carpets and the seats if they are made of fabric. Then spray hot water and Chemical Guys Fabric Clean on it. I then use this brush to clean in a cordless drill/driver. It does an excellent job of removing dirt, sand, pet hair and so on. Then I take the vacuum and suck up what's left on the carpet. Anyone can use this brush to clean car interior. Take a regular spray bottle and car soap to make a soapy solution. Vacuum what you can first, then spray the entire floor. Place it on heavily soiled areas until the carpet is almost wet. Then use this brush in your cordless drill to clean it. Then use a wet/dry vacuum to pick up as much dirt and water as possible. Just make sure to let your carpets dry completely to prevent mold from growing on them. Works like magic!
