Fantastic device Everything inside me said "I hope not. It's probably rubbish". Of course, the packaging and design reinforce the foreboding of trash, but this is a book not to be judged by its cover. It is very easy to install in my Honda Odyssey 05 and works perfectly - the quality of the microphone connection is also excellent (I installed it behind the steering wheel in front of the speedometer). I drilled a hole in a small compartment just above the cup holders to run a wire through and kept the Bluetooth receiver there for access. There are plenty of options for placing the unit in other locations - although without an extension cord I don't think the cord would reach the bottom ashtray next to the power sockets. You can even leave it behind the dash or under the steering column next to the obdII port (or for sure the top glove box).
