Washing molds is more of a formality than a necessity. The only thing that bothers me is that they don't last long. I was hoping for something I could cook 100g egg bites in and they hold around 50g per cup which is just like one large egg. In my photo, the egg bites on the left are 75g Exx blend per cup. and you can see how much they overflowed during the cooking process. The bites on the right were made with 50g of the mix per cup and came out almost perfect.
