Update! Here's an example of how the right customer support can change customer perceptions. I felt like I had been scammed and damn these guys overdid it to fix it! There was a packaging error in the parts I received, POWER STOP was very considerate. After extensive communication, this issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Now I'm increasing it to 5 stars. Brakes work well! (original review starts here) I was really looking forward to giving this brake kit a 5 star review. However, for such an expensive kit, the included hardware was not suitable. With front calipers, the gap in the caliper is smaller than the width of the brake disc. Once installed it makes contact and will most certainly result in a squeak as it squeaks when turned by hand. Since this is a guide to moving the pads back and forth, trimming is not recommended, so I had to reuse the old slide clamps. This pushes the rating down to 2 stars. I paid for an "modern" replacement kit and got poorly designed hardware. Makes me think about the design of the brakes themselves. I think we'll see. The 2006 Toyota Avalon doesn't like hardware. Your results may vary if it is a universal Toyota kit.
