I have a Roomba i7 plus and needed a second robot with a bin. Didn't want to spend money because it's for the second floor and out of sight. I chose this one based on the price and reviews. The packaging and presentation are good and I was very pleased when it arrived. I've spent almost 2 hours on this and I still can't connect my device to the app. The installation instructions are very bad. The pictures in the instructions do not match the product. Asks to wait, the connection light is flashing but no light is on. It speaks out loud every time it turns on and says it's on. It was written by a person who doesn't speak English. The app is not friendly at all. Why can't an app just accompany you like any other smart product we buy these days? Why should you read a piece of paper that is printed so small that even a magnifying glass won't help you? I'm pretty tech savvy and everything in my house works with Alexa. I could spend another hour on the phone with Revane (as some reviewers mentioned) to get it working, but why? I use the Roomba app all the time and it's so easy. Why not just spend a little more and get a superior product without the headaches? It's such a shame because the price is good and they seem to be selling other wifi enabled items. I just can't partake in their ecosystem at any cost. The motto "buy well or pay twice" really applies here. Much luck.
