Review on ๐ŸฅŠ Improved Ringside IMF Tech Hook and Loop Boxing Training Sparring Gloves by James Cabot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent for the price. Tight fit.

I also have Pro Style IMF gloves that are slightly more expensive than these and I would say this cheaper version is almost as good as the Pro Style IMF. These are excellent gloves. They are snug to uncomfortable at first, but once put on, they feel like custom gloves fitted to your hand. I think they are a little less tight than the pro style. However, they are a bit tricky to put on and more difficult than the Pro style. One reason is the tight fit. So if like me you want a snug fit you will have to put up with some difficulty putting the gloves on, but another reason is the wrist cuff design. This is an advantage for sparring as everything around your wrist is level and you don't cut your partner's face. The downside is the difficulty of putting gloves on alone (unaided). In general, these gloves feel pretty close to the more expensive version (Pro Style IMF). They are difficult to put on but I don't mind as the gloves are great. I give these gloves 5 stars for the quality for the price. There are better gloves out there but at this low price point they are amazing. These gloves should only be used for sparring. Of course you can hit the pocket and they offer good protection but like all sparring gloves they will quickly fall apart if you are a strong fighter. I would only use them for a first try on a bag. These gloves are true to weight! They weigh exactly 16 ounces. Due to the tight fit, they may not be for everyone and not everyone will be comfortable with the difficulty of putting them on. For reference, my hand is 9.1 inches around the knuckles and I bought the large size.
