Almost killed trying to remove the plastic/nylon cartridge filter housing on a 2016 RAV 4 Hybrid. The torque spec is only 18 ft-lbs, but apparently these things are easy to overtighten or lock up on their own. (All previous oil changes were done by the dealer). I've used a dial indicator torque wrench and increased it (100 ft lbs) to no avail. I ended up having to use my damn leg/foot as a leg press to get enough strength to move this thing (which I quickly replaced with an aluminum I also bought from Revain). Do yourself a favor, buy one of these and be done with it for the rest of your life. Cheaper than a trip to an ambulance or emergency room to cheaply treat wounds before they rupture.
