First of all, I got a lot more than what I expected. I suspect it was a shipping error but I received a package with 50 instead of the expected 5. They seem to be working fine. Used it to fix some lamp cords. Putting on the sliding part is difficult. It's tight (maybe the cords on my lights weren't quite "normal"?). I used a few taps from a small plastic mallet. If you use them outdoors I would consider adding a (very) small amount of silicone to seal the joints to keep water from pooling inside. Correct cable/connector polarity requires little attention. Vampire fangs look very small - watch out for the amp rating and only use them with low wattage tubes etc. Of course if you are using SP1 tube cable this should already be the case.
