Short range but otherwise works well

Works well but you have to be close enough (within 1-2 vehicle lengths) to the 04 F150 Supercrew for it to work. As these are the only ones I have I can't be sure if they are FOB or Ford. I often have to press the button 2-3 times unless I'm nearby, when I press the desired button gently and forcefully, preferably while holding the key fob at arm's length and "aiming" at the truck. FOB battery tested ok. Both FOBs show the same behavior so this could be a Ford feature again! For what it's worth, I had a slightly older F150 (of the same generation) that could reach distances many times greater than this one.
