So frustrating: 10 minutes of continuous use at low speed and they melt
I'm a 3m certified auto repair technician. I replaced my standard pads with these as many people have been very happy with them. I bought these for low speed buffing and this happened after 10 minutes of use. I love the cross pattern on the pad, it helps with application. I contacted the company and it was crickets. Now I can say that I will try again, but such a failure is very disappointing. I stopped using pads immediately and switched to my spare pads which are more expensive but don't melt at low speeds.
