FRAM CF8644A Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter

FRAM CF8644A Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter - I have a 2002 Jetta Wagon TDI and need to change the cabin filter. I tried this filter because it's discounted and the final cost is about $7. I opened the box and the new cabin air filter was sealed in plastic. I don't expect but I've been told that carbon filters lose their ability to filter properly unless they are sealed? I don't know if it's true, but I'm telling you all it was sealed in plastic. I replaced the filter, I didn't even look at the instructions, very quickly. It only took 15 minutes and now I've installed a new cabin filter. It comes with good instructions if you've never changed a filter before. If you've never done this, give it a try, you'll save some money by paying someone to do it.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very Expensive
