Review on π§ KNIPEX 301160 Combination Pliers - Top-notch Tools for Optimal Performance by Zach Peterson
The classic forged Knipex marking is missing, replaced by cheap laser engraving.
Compared to my 180 mm long Knipex combination pliers, the design is similar, BUT the famous Knipex forge lettering is missing and is replaced by a very inferior laser engraving. I'm not too proud that the Knipex branding is a big part of what I love about these pliers and it's very disappointing that they are so cheap. The product photo in this listing shows the classic branding. Also, there is a decent amount of corrosion on the pliers. Overall very disappointed although the pliers work great I expected to get what is shown. I wish this seller hadn't used the wrong picture to make you think you got wrong lettering.
