A pet window decal, preferably a window decal, is a must if you have pets in your home. You never know when a fire or other emergency will hit. I found out about this two years ago. While I was at home, my neighbor was not there. Firefighters clung to the window and said to search for the dog and rescue a 3-month-old puppy who was standing in the rising water when found. This could have been a tragedy for my neighbor. I have always used these clothespins and I feel a lot better when I leave my kids at home alone. This special bright red fastener will draw rescuers' attention. On each layer it is best to put a right side and a right side back on each layer. Although this decal is the size most manufacturers make, it would have been nice to have an 8" x 10" decal that would be easy to see from a distance, but I couldn't find one. I like having a blank space for a pet's name or description in addition to the species. It just helps rescuers find the pet, which is a good thing (apologies to M. Stewart).
