I ordered the 3 inch version for my son to use in grad school and it transformed his monastic style crib into a much more comfortable bed. It lasted over 4 years. After that, I tore it up to use as packaging material for Chinese and other dishes. I ordered the 2 inch version because I have a chaise longue with down pillows that has lost some of its softness. I took the original pillow as a template and cut out a piece. I then put it in a leather case and it offers a much more comfortable and upholstered seat and back without having to spend a fortune to have the chaise longue restored by a professional upholsterer. Whether you want a little more comfort on a dorm mattress or have furniture that you could put a little love into without a major overhaul, this is a solid choice. If you can spend a little more money, you can personally go for the 3-inch version. In my humble opinion, it's the extra inch that counts.[LCVR]
