This tailgate shock absorber is a flap changing device. No more hand or knee clapping. It's easy to install with the right tools. Small locking pliers, commonly referred to as target grips, do not work as well as a 13mm open-end wrench. The instructions are good except you really need a torx head to loosen the brace on the edge of the bed to add a shock mounting plate. The boss even gave her two thumbs up. I advised her to be careful when opening the back door, but she quickly realized the weight and speed at which the back door was coming down. Two dogs even love it. Deal, it's a good deal.
