Review on Geryon Vacuum Sealer: Automatic Food Sealer Machine for Sous Vide & Food Savers - Includes Starter Bags & Roll, Black by Derrick Duck

Based on my experience and other reviews on this product, this company seems to have a quality control issue. You are at risk if you receive a good product or a defective product. Unfortunately I received a melody. As a previous reviewer said, you can't use a partial vacuum to remove most of the air. Also, it only seals about 50% of the time. The other 50% sounds and acts like it's closing, but when you open it, nothing happens. I've found that simply leaving it inside and pressing the seal button 2 or 3 times saves you time as you don't have to reposition the bag every time you open it to find it's unsealed. If you're patient you can make it work, but you end up spending twice as much time as if you had a sealant that worked consistently.
