I switched from Aquaclear 50 to Tararium. In two days the water became clearer than anything Aquaclear had to offer. I'm using the raindrop return style. The fish seem happier as there is less turbulence with the full volume of water flowing through the filter than with this or the Aquaclear waterfall type. I want to give it five stars. You can't for a reason. Hang on the back hangers. They are not designed to fit the full width of most aquarium ledges. If you have a straight plexiglass/glass type with no top edge, hangers are fine. However, they need to be adjusted to be a little, not much, but slightly wider. I had to superglue my to make sure the hanger stops were secure. Make these hangers a little wider so they can be used in different types of aquariums and that's perfect. You can also increase the height to accommodate additional trays. There's probably enough, but a few more could be added. The space behind the aquariums is the critical element, not the height. With a standard 20 gallon tank I have at least another 6 inches of room to get to the bottom of the tank. The width is perfect for my stand. Don't make it wider, make it taller and add two or three more trays. They would compete with fancy external filters.
