As mentioned in other reviews the velcro is almost certainly a plus not a minus. My only downside was that I didn't read the size of the smell proof bags that came with it (it turns out reading is a very important skill that I need to work on). For some reason I was expecting the smell proof pockets to be a bit smaller than a backpack. The description clearly states the measurements of both the backpack and the bags, I just didn't read it. Therefore I give the product 5 stars because it is 100% as described. I'm giving myself 1 star for not reading what was clearly provided. You will probably read the measurements and be 100% satisfied with the whole set. Happy hiking!
