Unbelievable value if you're willing to mix the good with the bad

If you think about it, there really are only two types of toner cartridges: 1) those that work well and as good as they should be and 2) those that aren't. As a rule, you can rely on OEM branded toner (the toner made by your printer manufacturer) to work perfectly, which is a good thing since you pay a high price for that toner. Conversely, with aftermarket toner cartridges, you have to reckon with a relatively high failure rate. On average, we know that 2 or 3 out of 10 cartridges we buy do not give satisfactory results. The most common issues we encountered resulted in unacceptable print quality. In some cases, the printer creates random spots, streaks, and spots on printouts. This can sometimes be attributed to a small toner leak in the cartridge itself, or uneven distribution of the toner on the drum/fuser unit, or the fuser units (on printers with a built-in drum in the cartridge) are unable to fully apply the toner to the toner cartridge side, resulting in leads to printouts that smear like pencil #2 when you rub over the lettering. Well, having said all that, I still highly recommend considering these aftermarket cartridges. First, you get 70-80% savings on the cartridge. A printer in my office uses an old $129.95 OEM cartridge. In comparison, these replacement cartridges cost between $20 and $30 each. At these prices, I can afford to order multiple cartridges at once knowing that you will most likely receive multiple defective ones. However, the manufacturer is happy to replace defective cartridges free of charge and as long as you have 2-3 replacement cartridges, you can simply put one or the other defective cartridge aside and have it replaced later. dependent office so we have 15 different printers throughout the building. The vast majority of the printing work we undertake is done solely for compliance and audit purposes. With this type of print job, you don't have to worry about print quality. These printers ONLY come with these inexpensive consumables. For print jobs that demand the highest levels of clarity and print quality, we have a black and white laser printer and a color laser printer that we stock with OEM consumables. But for most of our printing needs we use these cartridges and are happy with the results and the cost savings.
