LxTek Compatible TN880 Toner Cartridge: Super-High Yield 12,000 Pages Review

This cartridge seems to print fine in my Brother with no problems printing on regular print paper. But! I have a problem when I try to print on an Avery label I use - I don't print on it. The toner just smears and prints blurry. I don't understand this because I have another laser printer (HP) in which I use LXTek cartridges and it prints the same Avery labels just fine.

If you think about it, there really are only two types of toner cartridges: 1) those that work well and as good as they should be and 2) those that aren't. As a rule, you can rely on OEM branded toner (the toner made by your printer manufacturer) to work perfectly, which is a good thing since you pay a high price for that toner. These toner cartridges are just as good as those of the same brand as the printer. I've had ink smearing issues a few times, but this was most noticeable after not printing for a while. After a few prints everything was fine! I don't mind wasting a few sheets of paper as these cartridges save me a significant amount of money!

The print quality is as good as the original cartridge. When printing 50 pages per print job, I noticed some artifacts on some of the last few pages. The rest of the cartridge is good. I used to use lxtek, tn850 which has been discontinued, print quality was good but lifespan was not. It lasted about 5,000 prints and began to fade noticeably and had to be changed after just 6,000 prints. Shorter than I would like. They have discontinued this cartridge and replaced it with a newer tn850 model. I

I recently tried another same brand toner and found it enough to buy again. Both toners arrived in perfect condition. Installation was easy, everything else went smoothly. So far I haven't had any printing problems and the print quality is more than adequate for my home use.

Cartridges leak all over packaging and outside edges rendering them unusable. Not having time to wait for my order, I had to wipe the ink and risked ruining my very expensive printer. So I was able to salvage one cartridge, but now what do I do with the other to get it back? Not sure about savings with more questions.

I am always cautious when buying non-OEM toner. In this case I was delighted as the copies look as sharp as Brother toner. The printouts look great. I recommend to everyone. This was my previous review. Now that I've been using it for a while, I've completely changed my mind. The toner appears to be peeling off the paper. Labels do not print well. Low quality. I went back to OEM. It may cost 3-4 times more but the quality is worth it. Who knows if cheap stuff will ruin the printer.
