You get a lot for your money with this set, that's undeniable. The plates include a wide variety of designs, most of which I can use myself. I also like the carry case, it's much nicer than if they were untied or held together with a rubber band. However, the plates themselves aren't etched very deeply, so some patterns don't match well, or are made somewhat transparent by a very thin layer of polishing. Some of the designs are oddly warped or stretched and I suspect some of them are counterfeits from other brands. The edges of the panels and the etch are also quite sharp, I cut myself once removing the blue foil and again trying to get the panel out of the case and the etch has ripped on cotton pads when I clean it. I have plates from another brand, Ejiubas, and the difference is very noticeable, they are etched deeper and the edges are even and secure. The stamp in this set isn't great either, I can't match it to the designs (no problem with my other clear jelly stamps). Also, the whole point of a clear stamp is that you can see through it and see where you're placing your design, but this stamp is double-sided so the end you're not using blocks your view of the working end. All in all I have used this set and will continue to use it (albeit very carefully to avoid further injury) but in the future I would rather spend more on better quality plates and dies.
