I used this item for holographic gel stamping. The etching on the plates is too fine. I couldn't use plates with gel polish, metallics or chrome powders. Maybe the kit I received was defective. I would have preferred the 'contact seller' option because I would happily have the plates replaced and prefer not to give a bad review if the issues could be fixed.

In general, the punching is beautiful and of high quality. I also like the case it comes in. The only point of criticism is the stamp itself. It broke on the first use. I have looked at many guides on how to properly use and care for a stamp as I know it is very delicate. I was very sensitive but the stamp literally fell out of the plastic case it was in the first time I used it. I would still buy this product because what you get for the price is good. I bought these plates for a specific painting so I didn't look too closely. When I checked them out for my nail art channel, I kept looking at a few images and realized they were enlarged images stolen from Maniology records. It's so dubious to steal other people's artwork. Shame on this company! Also, the plates were etched so deeply that cleaning them was ridiculous. Cotton balls got stuck, lint-free pads were too thin to fit in the grooves. You get a lot for your money with this set, that's undeniable. The plates include a wide variety of designs, most of which I can use myself. I also like the carry case, it's much nicer than if they were untied or held together with a rubber band. However, the plates themselves aren't etched very deeply, so some patterns don't match well, or are made somewhat transparent by a very thin layer of polishing.
