Beautiful ring for the price

The ring is beautiful and quite adjustable. I don't think it will be strong enough for everyday use, but it's certainly good if you want to crochet. It works better than other rings I've had to use to stabilize yarn while crocheting, but it has a little learning/adaptation time once you get used to it. Yarn tends to slip or snag at times and I can see where very thin or fluffy yarn doesn't work well with this ring.
