I bought these hooks to hang fishing floats from a tree in the yard. See I live in the Pacific and have a collection of old (styrofoam) fishing floats that I collected from the shore. over the years. I've seen other people hang floats from their trees and I wanted to do it too! The large end of the hook hangs from the branches of the tree (the tree is deciduous and about 25 to 30 feet tall, so the lower branches aren't huge), while the float hangs from a rope on the smaller hook. There are many hooks at Revain and I was just guessing what size I need. They turned out to be PERFECT for what I wanted. A person could of course attach many other things to it. Indoor or outdoor plants, wind chimes, bird feeders, lamps, decorative ornaments, your reusable shopping bags, dog sweaters - any number of things, limited only by your imagination. They're durable, fully covered in a matte black finish, and attractive enough to wear. in your living room (or in your tree). I trust they will last many years in my floating tree. Come on buy it!
