I bought this exercise table after hip surgery and it is essential for lying down! I kept the base constant at 120 degrees (lower joint) and 45 degrees (middle hinge) and set the tabletop at 120 for standing, 150 for lying with support, and 180 for lying down. (Image) WARNING: At high angles, my laptop could fall forward. When I bought this I also ordered a 1" wide luggage strap ($8 for a 4-pack). I installed it around the base of the laptop above the keyboard, making sure it was snug but loose enough easy to put on and take off.I attached the strap to the frame by tying off the excess length with an elastic band and then threading the zip ties through the vents on the back of the desktop.(Picture) Other reviews complain about the strap slipping Mouse tray but I didn't have a big problem I don't think I could give it as much importance as other people Also the mouse tray doesn't bother at all with the configuration as in the picture and above The table does shake a little at the joints but I don't feel this compromises the integrity or security of the table I have added small rubber pads to the underside of the joints where my base configuration touches the table rt and it does not slip at all.
