Although the toaster looks good, its main function is to toast bread. and it must be able to accommodate a reasonable range of bread sizes. A fairly standard size store bought bread in my opinion (Oroweat Potato Bread) doesn't toast the top inch or so at all and the slits are too short so you have to "help" the bread, resulting in bread that is unevenly roasted, has crooked edges, and just overall provides a poor user experience, especially considering it costs $70. It's entirely possible that the unit I received was faulty in that the top didn't toast, but unless you toast just small pieces of bread you probably won't be happy with this toaster either.
