I was very happy with my purchase as this is a really interesting fan! The fan is very nice, albeit made of plastic. It didn't seem cheap. It looks pretty good and modern. My biggest problem is that it's a weak fan. CFM is probably really small. The fan hardly pumps any air at maximum speed. The fan delivers air DIRECTLY under the fan. I used it for my living room which is about 14 x 11. There isn't enough air. Installation is somewhat easy once you know what you are doing. It's lightweight, so I installed it myself. The remote control works and is easy to use. The color temperature of the light is difficult to control. I have 3500,000 bulbs but have had trouble adjusting them to my light. I will probably install it in another room or return it. First I bought a CEILING FAN. This is not a replacement for a ceiling fan. It can only blow air into a tiny space and if you are standing/lying directly under it. I was actually thinking about putting it in my oven room lol. CFM is that bad. But I found $180 too expensive for a lamp. Also suitable for hallways. it is not that much. If you want something beautiful and unique and not worried about having a fan, that's pretty cute.
