The hinges were strong but the fittings were incomplete
Bought these to try with an odd shaped hatch door. They didn't work on the door (a very odd corner couldn't be covered). We will use them on the trunk and they open and close appropriately. They were packed separately with the equipment. 2 special bolts were missing in the fittings of one of the hinges. I emailed instructions if something was wrong to let them know. I didn't hear anything in reply. I was able to install 2 screws that weren't in stock to make them usable.
