Added a new 6C Maglite from the 90's that I found on Facebook for about $10. It's as bright as my 168 lumen 3D Cell LED Maglite, but with a wider, less harsh, focused beam, and it doesn't get as wide when you turn your head to cast. The old reflector is smaller than the reflector of the new 3D LED flashlight. The light is more comfortable 4500-5000k which suits the old shop very well. I was afraid it would be too blue or too light, but it's perfect. This should increase battery life, hopefully at least half that of my 3D Maglite which lasts 80 hours. Compared to my Thrunite TN4A the beam seems to be the same intensity to my eyes but the Thrunite has a much wider beam and more ambient light so it's a lot brighter at 1050 lumens, the range is the same only the Maglites have one much smaller stain. but with the same intensity. Trunit runs at 4 AA for about 50 minutes at 1050 lumens. Overall I'm very happy with this lightbulb, which has breathed new life into what would otherwise only be used for crowd control.
