We've been using Mike's Mix for years, but I wanted to increase my protein intake without increasing my carbs. I've bought whey sources but so many from huge companies that I'm not sure I trust them. I didn't even know Mike had whey protein. My research (check it yourself on Google) shows that its suppliers are based in the US, and here's an interesting account of where they do, theaveragejoseph.blogspot.com/2014/04/visiting-mikes-mix. html (who writes - up not by me, only found during my research). Anyway - I've tried 1/2 and 1/2 Mike's Mix and Mike's Whey. Easy to mix, tastes great, contains NO artificial sweeteners (I hate sucralose) or locally sourced materials, and supports a small business run by healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. It doesn't seem to be a problem.
