Review on Bosch 84520M Diameter Carbide Vertical by Gary Shakeone

This is the first Bosch bit I have ever bought. This is also the first vertical false plate I've ever bought. I don't know if it's the brand of bit or the type of bit (I'm guessing it's the latter), but it doesn't make smooth cuts, even with multiple passes in pine. There is also a significant amount of distance. In the future I will buy non-vertical intermediate plates, although they tend to be more expensive.
