There are pluses and minuses, think before you buy.

While the original one dries for a day, we'll use this one as a replacement. Although it is not stated on the market, a popular online retailer's instructions for a similar Chinese filter state that it needs to be washed once a month and lasts for three months. The original one should also be washed once a month, but the maker claims it lasts for two years. So I'm not sure how warranted these savings are. Time will reveal.

Pros

lower cost than the original.

Cons

The quality is in no way comparable to a Dyson. The filter's internal pores have substantially smaller surface areas. It is firmly fastened on, and at first I even believed that it did not fit.
