If you have an iPhone 12 in a regular case, even if it's thin enough for the phone's magnetic back to work with wireless charging, you won't be able to use it this holder. Since the magnet on it is not strong enough, your phone will fall off. Instead, you have to take the phone out of the case or use MagSafe, which specifically adds another magnetic ring on the back. However, once you've done that, this holder and charger is fantastic. It securely holds my iPhone 12 Pro (with MagSafe case). The ball joint allows me to orient it so I can see it better - or so my passenger can see it. The included cable plugs into a USB port on the under-dash so I can use it for navigating without draining the battery. The holder is easy to assemble and attach. You hook it to the vent bar, tighten to stabilize it, and attach the phone to a surface. If you have round vents (I don't) use the included bracket. If only it had a stronger magnet for thin cases, that would be perfect. Debbie Lee Wesselman
