Review on Kenu Airbase Pro Car Phone Mount: Ultimate Dashboard and Windshield Accessory with 360 Degree Rotation for Latest iPhones, Samsung, and Android Phones by Todd Look

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to get in and out - see update

Well designed, fits my large iPhone and attaches well to the dashboard of my 2015 Grand Cherokee No rattles! The spring loaded design allows me to use cases with my phone. Easy to pick up and take out. Update: Almost 2 years before the date of purchase I found that the suction was not working in the warmer summer weather. I took it off, brought it in, cleaned the sticky part of the pad and tried again. No matter what I did, it just didn't seem to hold up the way it used to. It was good but I don't know what to do to get him to stay with my line at this point. There's nothing more frustrating than driving and dropping your phone, while it is still in its holder. I rated it a 5 at first and as it doesn't last it's now a 3. Still a great design if it works but it's not up to date. Update 2 11/12/19 I have the kenu -Contacted support and they sent me a replacement. I had to provide photos of the base and the Revain receipt. Within 5 days of confirming my email I had a new airframe! The kit includes a 3M dash mount that needs to be placed on the dash first and then Airbase Pro installed on it. This should help seal in the textured strokes a lot more. The support said that any remnants of this sticker can be removed with rubbing alcohol and should be indistinguishable from the Airbase Pro itself. I'm a bit skeptical, but that can happen. Still a great experience with Kenu Support! Thanks very much! I have since treated the Airbase Pro Sticky Pad with soap and water following the instructions on the website, but I was only able to leave soap residue on the gel pad. Even when I used the cleaning brush there was a residue that I believe was preventing me from getting a good print. I then tried cleaning the bottom gel pad with rubbing alcohol, letting it dry and then reinstalling it. This solved my problem. Since I installed it I haven't had any more problems. Definitely worth it cleaning the underside of the gel pad with alcohol, as well as the dashboard. If that doesn't help, write to Ken's support and they should take care of you. left a residue which I believe prevented me from getting a good print.
