I decided to try this brand after years of buying from the competition, Jobst. Because I had a clot and have to wear compression stockings, I was able to ask my doctor for a prescription and purchase the stockings with a co-pay. Last year after filling the prescription, I noted that the co-pay was quite high, compared to previous years, and looked at the receipt when I got back in my car. This company fraudulently billed my insurance for ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS per pair. To add insult to injury, they almost immediately fell apart. I decided to buy from Truform because the price of the stockings was less than the co-pay, and I will NEVER allow insurance fraud when I can help it. These stockings are head and shoulders above the cheap rags that Jobst is palming off on people, and stealing from insurance companies to sell. Unless there is a war on and elastic is scarce, I don't know how this can be justified, but I hope that this review will steer people toward the company that does not undermine healthcare in this country.
