As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I bought this because I had 160,000 miles and code P420 came up. I ended up having to buy a Bosch Wideband and in the end I found that this sensor was not stable. I kept getting a shift efficiency code in Bank 1. I kept failing the driving test and received code P2A00. Lean to Rich and Rich to Lean threshold codes. I ended up replacing that sensor with the OEM sensor I replaced and guess what emissions the car had. This sensor is not the best choice for 2006 Nissan Altima. I think you need to at least get a BOSCH O2 sensor, but I agree the NTK is worth the investment.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good but not great
