Review on πŸ”’ BV 15FT Security Steel Cable with Loops: Braided Flex Cable, 3/8 Inch Lock Cable for U-Lock and Padlock Protection by Ron Damndjperiod

Revainrating 4 out of 5

EVERYTHING has limits - Steel harnesses - Comfortable with U-lock

This harness is about as comfortable and efficient as it gets, but NOTHING is perfect. The best you can do is tie the bike to a secure, strong structural member (bar, etc.) with a smaller/tight U-shackle combined with a cable or chain. If the bike is in a tight spot, maybe with many other bikes, it will be more difficult to physically get the tools to the lock and cable/chain. Large U-shackles are more convenient than small ones, but are heavier and easier to twist, pluck, or break with large crowbars. Remember, ANYTHING can be hit, so don't leave your bike unattended any longer than necessary. With access, tools, little time, and no effective law enforcement, ANY bike safety gear can be BEAT. Security cables can be CUT with sharp, well-adjusted bolt cutters, locks can be PICKED with a sledgehammer/hammer and freezing solution, powerful cordless grinders can CUT/BREAK hardened chains and lock shackles. Lock cylinders can be drilled/drilled. The dirtier and uglier your bike is, the less attractive it becomes to thieves. Much luck.
