Review on ⏱️ Silver Sabatier Dual Event Digital Timer for Enhanced Productivity and Efficiency by Claudia Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Only counts full minutes.

If this is your first purchase of this Sabatier timer, remove the battery cover and remove the tiny piece of clear plastic from the battery negative post that came with the timer. You can now explore this timer. You wouldn't think that one timer is very different from another, but this one will fool you. The numbers on the front are big and easy to read, if you don't have vision problems like macular degeneration, there is an on/off button on the front, you turn the top part clockwise to add minutes and counterclockwise to add to take minutes Press "on" to start the countdown. You can count up or down. The switch stops the timer or resets it to zero. Counting: Simply press the on/off button and the timer will continue to count up to 99 minutes. I didn't do this, so I don't know what warning you get when you hit 99 minutes. Countdown: Turn the top to the desired time in minutes and press the on/off button. The timer will beep for a full minute when the countdown ends. I could hear it very clearly when the timer was upstairs in the bedroom and I was downstairs at the other end of the house. My husband couldn't hear him when he was in the next room. Unless you manually turn off the timer, it will beep twice every 30 seconds, apparently until the battery dies. I let it do a 2 beep reminder for 30 minutes and it showed no signs of ever turning off. Here's the problem with this timer for me - you can set it to only count full minutes instead of seconds. You can set it to 14 minutes but not 14 minutes 45 seconds. The lack of a seconds countdown feature is a headache and can render this timer useless in some situations. By choosing this timer, I have learned to pay close attention to product descriptions. The company that sells this timer never says it will count seconds. I expected that, I was wrong.
