that I ordered not so much for security reasons as to protect the door from opening. We have a large dog who can open the door and has to keep unlocking and locking the door so it stays closed during the day. I use this instead and it works great! The rubber base stays firmly on my laminate, and the rubber joint under the doorknob doesn't slip or damage hardware. It is very durable and adjustable. No plastic parts. It also comes with rubber tips to convert it from use under a doorknob to one that can be used in a sliding door track or to prevent windows from opening. I like it so much I will probably order extra ones to use as safety measures. I am not disappointed with the product, the price or how quickly I received it.
