Review on 🧠 Melissa & Doug Travel Memory Flip by Tiger Carpani

I usually like the quality of Melissa and Doug's stuff and praise them here and elsewhere. Not this time. My grandchildren are not easily excited. I love it when toys encourage perseverance, creative thinking, and problem solving. But that disappointed her, and I understood her disappointment because I felt it myself. . The images on the cards, especially those closest to the edges of the board, are difficult to see when the tiles are open, and the images don't match the holes either. Even more frustrating? When 2 tiles are open next to each other you CANNOT see the full picture on ANY of them without doing anything and - if you try to close them the edges of the tiles get stuck in the holes. The only benefit of this particular set is that there are no loose tiles as they are attached to the board - and while that would normally be a huge plus, poor design ruins all positives. I had high hopes for it. but i am disappointed. This annoys not only my children, but also me.
